About RGWW

The mission of Rosanna Gamson/World Wide (RGWW) is to foster dialogue through the production, performance and teaching of dance theater. Convening skilled dancers, singers, actors, musicians and visual artists from eclectic backgrounds and diverse countries, we create new collaborations that weave our different skills, traditions and points of view into sumptuous, entertaining and provocative dance theater reflecting the complexity of living in the world together.

RGWW has created bi-national collaborative projects in Lithuania, Poland and Mexico, and toured in North America since 2000 and in Europe since 2012. RGWW has led workshops and master classes and been presented and commissioned by museums, theaters, festivals and alternative performance spaces. In California our presenting partners include REDCAT, ODC Theater, the Skirball Cultural Center, the Getty Center, and Grand Performances.  RGWW's North American touring includes Teatro Raul Flores Canelo de CENART and UNAM in Mexico City, the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto, PICA's TBA Festival, the Dance Center of Columbia College, Chicago; and the XXth International Hispanic Theater Festival, in Miami, among many other venues. Our dance theater projects have been commissioned with support from the National Performance Network and the National Dance Project.  RGWW is the recipient of six Lester Horton Dance Awards, including a Special Dance Innovator Award to Gamson for her body of work. RGWW's touring and travel support includes awards from LA DCA Cultural Exchange International, Contacto Cultural and the Trust for Mutual Understanding.

In 2018/19 RGWW's Still/Restless opened the Festival Internacional de Artes Escenicas de Panamá, and our SUGAR HOUSES premiered at REDCAT in March of 2020. We performed at the Retro/per/spektyvy International Theater Festival in Lodz, Poland in August of 2019 and Rosanna taught at the Dance In Tank Festival in Seoul that summer.
